ABOUT US
FNRC was incorporated in 2011. Our founders, Maurice and Louise Chisel have been bringing a "Message of Hope" to First Nations people for over 20 years. Maurice's background in Family Service Work and Louise's work as a Mental Health Nurse has given them many first hand opportunities to see the overwhelming hurt that grief brings.
OUR FOUNDERS
We are a faith based program who believes in delivering care in the context of God's love and restoration.
Our approach reflects the traditional values of family, caring and sharing. These elements make relationships the center of the healing process. First with God through Christ, then man and then self. We believe people will change and heal in a loving environment.
FNRC is located in a First Nations community. This allows the particpants to be connected to the greater aboriginal community. Those involved can return to or experience for the first time, those healthy lifestyle practices of their people.
